“Aaron and his moving crew saved me from a difficult situation. The movers I hired off Craigslist to load my trailer didn't show up, and I absolutely had to get on the road that night. It was late afternoon by the time I called Aaron. Even though it was after business hours and I'm sure he was exhausted from other jobs, he rounded up a crew and came over. They emptied my apartment and storage unit and did a great job loading my trailer despite the disorganized state of things. They were cheerful, honest and worked hard. I was able to get on the road that night for my cross-country move. I can't thank them enough, and I would definitely hire them again.”
Aaron started Up and Coming in Lexington in 2011 with a truck, a strong crew, and one idea: give people an honest option that fits how they actually move. Some folks want the whole move handled; plenty just need strong hands to load the truck they already rented. We do both, quoted fair by the hour or flat, and we show up ready to work.
What Hasn’t Changed Since 2011
- Aaron himself still books the crews and takes the calls.
- Labor-only or full service, your call, priced hourly or flat.
- We stack a truck to travel, heavy and low and strapped tight.
- Licensed and insured, and careful with your things and the building.
Rooted in the Bluegrass
We run out of Lexington, off Tates Creek Road, and most of our work is close to home: Nicholasville subdivisions and Richmond student apartments, Georgetown historic homes and Versailles horse-country estates. We load cross-country trailers too. 3,000-plus jobs on, every one still gets a fair quote and a crew that works.
